Daily Update: March 2

No change at all on lines 1-6.  Most of the change is in the 8-11 range, thanks to a busy night for teams on the bubble and those close to it.

Even though they played earlier in the week, South Carolina and Virginia Tech are now locks on the board.  Both teams have a strong enough profile that could withstand a reasonable loss this weekend (SC at Ole Miss; VT vs Wake Forest).

Speaking of Wake, talk about the lift a signature win can give you!  Beating Louisville was just what it needed, at just the right time.  The Deacons leaped over the First Four group and onto the No. 10 line.  A win at Virginia Tech would give them even more cushion going into the ACC Tourney.

No, Northwestern is not a lock just yet.
